About Us
For owners Jennifer and Jim Hill, Blackstone’s is personal. Their journey started over 25 years ago in a cooking class in France, and that passion for bringing people together through food still influences everything they do—from the products they choose to the way they care for each customer.
Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill is Boston’s premier destination for premium cookware, cutlery, kitchenware, home goods, and distinctive gifts. Located on historic Charles Street in Beacon Hill, the store has served both local customers and visitors from around the world for nearly 45 years.
Our story begins in 1982, when Blackstone’s opened on Charles Street as a home goods and gift store, while in neighboring Back Back, KitchenArts opened on Newbury Street—laying the foundation for what would later become KitchenWares by Blackstones.
Today, Blackstone’s is known for its extensive selection of premium knife brands—the largest in New England—along with professional knife sharpening services and personalized, knowledgeable customer service. Our assortment also includes locally made products, exclusive items, and Boston souvenirs, offering something special for everyday use, thoughtful gifts, and meaningful keepsakes.
